Part-time Technical Officer in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 534043) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year or three-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above with at least 5 years of work experience, preferably in laboratory operation support. They should also be highly motivated, and able to work independently and as a team in a multi-disciplinary laboratory environment. Experiences in laboratory operation would be an advantage.
The appointee will be involved in conducting research studies, and the duties may include but not limited to recruiting study participants, collecting data, assisting in data analysis, and compiling reports. They will provide laboratory and administrative support in research, and technical support in communal facilities, and assist with teaching-related tasks or any ad hoc tasks in relation to organising seminars or exhibitions.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
