Executive Officer in the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref.: 534046)

We are looking for an Executive Officer to join the Faculty of Dentistry to provide comprehensive administrative support for undergraduate programme management.

The Role

The appointee will play a key role in managing and supporting undergraduate programme administration, including but not limited to:

  • Development of new undergraduate programmes;
  • Planning and coordination of articulation programmes;
  • Programme and curriculum planning, administration and revisions;
  • Planning and supporting the implementation of student enrichment and wellness activities;
  • Assessment-related and student-related matters;
  • Academic reviews, accreditation exercises and quality assurance processes;
  • Student admissions and registration;
  • Secretarial support to committees and working groups; and
  • Dental Internship Programme.

Qualifications and Qualities

  • A Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ administrative experience, preferably in tertiary education institutions;
  • Strong organisational, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Mature, with a strong sense of responsibility;
  • Meticulous attention to details, strong self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively;
  • An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant computer software; and
  • Experience in undergraduate programme administration and academic reviews is preferred.

What We Offer

The appointment will be made on a fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years and commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.  A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary.  Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
