Full-time/Fractional/Part-time Nurse (holding the functional title of Research Nurse) in the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 534080) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

 

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Nursing, and be registered with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong, preferably with clinical working experience in primary care. They should be able to work independently and in a team.  They should also have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese as well as good communication skills.  Knowledge and experience of serving the South Asian ethnic minorities will be an advantage.  The appointee will be responsible for conducting an outreach nurse-led clinic service in screening for chronic diseases such as diabetes, hyperlipidaemia and hypertension amongst the South Asian populations in Hong Kong together with Non-Government Organizations, connecting the participants to appropriate healthcare services, working with other healthcare professionals to deliver various therapeutic lifestyle modification activities, conducting social prescribing and performing other clinical duties as assigned.
