Executive Officer, Executive Education (holding the functional title of Manager) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 534148) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration or a business-related discipline with around 6 years’ work experience, of which at least 3 years in the field of business development; sales and marketing or client servicing with project management experience in a commercial and business setting. They should be good team players who have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); strong customer service and project management skills; proven track record of business development; good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills;; a positive attitude; a detail-oriented mindset; a high level of computer literacy; and prior experience in supervising or leading a team. They should also be able to proofread and edit English and Chinese articles, build relationships at all levels in the private, public and Government sectors, work independently under pressure with problem-solving abilities, an entrepreneurial spirit, and multi-task under tight deadlines.
The appointee will support the Faculty’s development in the Executive Education portfolio, including business and programme development, marketing and execution. Therefore, a good knowledge of Executive Education programmes in the Asian market and a sound network with the business sector would be a definite advantage. He/She will work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
