Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Ref.: 534352) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year/three-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree, with at least 2 years’ work experience, preferably in finance-related area within a tertiary institution, public/quasi-public organization, or a related sector. They should be self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and positive attitude, while being able to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.  A good command of English and Chinese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua; effective interpersonal and organisational skills; as well as an appropriate level of IT skills are essential. Attention to detail and accuracy in their work are expected.

The appointee will be assigned to assist in administrative work in finance-related matters; and to perform general office administration and ad hoc/non-routine tasks as required. Work outside normal office hours may be required occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. Applicants with less experience may be considered for the position of Executive Assistant.
