Clerk I/II (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant / Senior Executive Assistant) in the School of Computing and Data Science (several posts) (Ref:534425) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-years fixed-term basis subject to qualifications and experience, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.)
With the establishment of the School of Computing and Data Science, we are seeking proactive and responsible individuals to support the School’s strategic initiatives and academic development in the following key functional areas:
- Finance and Accounting
- Academic Programmes
The Role
The appointees will provide clerical and administrative support to their respective functional teams, and perform any other duties as assigned. They are expected to serve as the first contact point for relevant stakeholders, and ensure the smooth operations of the teams.
Finance and Accounting
- Provide finance, procurement, and general administrative support
- Assist in office management and coordination of staff activities
- Experience with mainland finance operations is an advantage
Academic Programmes
- Support academic programme administration, including admissions, course enrollment, examinations, data management, students’ enquiries and any other programmes related matters
- Assist in organizing student engagement events and activities
Qualifications and Qualities
- A recognized Bachelor's degree or above;
- 2 to 5 years of relevant administrative experience;
- Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills;
- Self-motivated and independent;
- Good IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications; and
- Good command of English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
