Executive Officer (2 posts) in the School of Computing and Data Science (Ref:534427) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-years fixed-term basis subject to qualifications and experience, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.)

 

With the establishment of the School of Computing and Data Science, we are seeking high-caliber and forward-thinking team leaders to support the School’s strategic initiatives and growing academic development of taught postgraduate degree programme.

 

The Role

The appointee will be responsible for the administration of taught postgraduate programmes in the School including:

  • Student admissions and administration;
  • Programme operations and academic coordination;
  • Finance administration;
  • Organizing alumni/students' enrichment events; and
  • Perform any ad-hoc and non-routine tasks as assigned
  •  Occasional travel to the Mainland China or overseas will be required.

 

Qualifications and Qualities

  • A recognized Bachelor's degree or above;
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in tertiary institutions;
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills;
  • A proactive, detail-oriented and self‑motivated work attitude, with the ability to manage tasks independently and be a good team player;
  • Strong digital proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications; and
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
