Clerk I / II (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant / Executive Assistant) (several posts) in the Estates Office (Ref.: 534438)
We are looking for Clerks I / II (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant / Executive Assistant) for (i) human resources; and (ii) secretarial and clerical support to the senior management, to join the Estates Office.
The Role
The appointees will:
(i) Provide administrative support for human resources matters, including staff appointments, training, leave applications, processing allowances/claims, maintaining personnel records, preparing correspondence and performing other duties as assigned.
(ii) Provide secretarial and clerical support to the senior management, including managing the officer’s schedule, preparing correspondence, filing, arranging meetings, checking and preparing payments for projects/financial reports, maintaining project information database, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Qualities
Applicants should possess:
- A minimum of 5 passes in HKCEE including English (at least Grade C under Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007), and Mathematics; OR a minimum of Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSE, including English Language, Chinese Language, and Mathematics; OR a recognized degree/diploma with not less than 5 years of relevant experience;
- A good command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Putonghua;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, with the ability to attend to details and work independently; and
- Solid work experience in tertiary institutions and construction-related organizations for Post (ii) would be an advantage.
Those with less experience or lower qualifications will be considered for appointment as Clerk II (Executive Assistant).
What We Offer
The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary.
