Project Officer (at the rank of Clerk II) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 534668) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Five passes in HKCEE, including English (minimum Grade C in Syllabus A / Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007), and Mathematics; OR a minimum of Level 2 or equivalent in five subjects in HKDSEE, including English Language, Chinese Language, and Mathematics, with at least five years’ relevant work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree with at least two years’ relevant work experience;
• A strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
• Mature, persuasive, personable, open-minded, and articulate;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• The ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Provide logistical and on-site support for Faculty-wide events, ceremonies, student engagement programmes, and community initiatives;
• Coordinate and administer student development, wellness, and enrichment programmes;
• Assist in the promotion and execution of student activities, including drafting publicity materials and managing online registration;
• Support Faculty-level student services and maintain regular communication with students, student leaders, and student societies;
• Support the administration and coordination of the student exchange programme, including liaison with students, partner institutions, and relevant internal units;
• Serve as a key liaison with internal departments and external partners on student-related matters;
• Manage administrative operations, including documentation, data management, reporting, and record-keeping for the team;
• Monitor budgets, process reimbursements, and provide finance-related support for the team;
• Supervise student helpers and provide on-site coordination during events;
• Provide support in HR-related and general administrative matters as assigned by the Team Head;
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
