Clerk I/II (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant) in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Global Health Institute, School of Public Health (Ref.: 535004) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance) 

 

Requirements:

  • Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE and at least 5 years’ relevant experience; or combination of highly specialized training or education and in-depth experience to perform very complex tasks; OR Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in financial and accounting support and office administration in the higher education sector or a public/quasi-public organization is preferred
  • Strong commitment to quality, integrity, confidentiality and compliance
  • Good organisational, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills
  • A detail-minded, self-motivated team player who able to handle multiple concurrent tasks
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Institute’s administration team
  • Handle routine finance‑related work and provide basic accounting support
  • Assist in general office administration and daily operations
  • Provide clerical support in human resources‑related matters
  • Assist with project progress reporting and relevant documentation
  • Assist in organising meetings, activities, and events, and related logistics, including travel arrangements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Applicants with less work experience or fresh graduates with good academic backgrounds will be considered for the post of Clerk II (holding the functioning title of Executive Assistant). Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
