Project Officer (at the rank of Research Assistant I/II) in the Faculty of Social Sciences
We now invite applications for the captioned post. The appointee will take part in research and evaluation-related administrative tasks in the research team of the Jockey Club End-of-Life Community Care Project (www.JCECC.hk).
Duties and Responsibilities
- data collection, data analysis and preparing manuscripts for publication
- liaise with NGOs and relevant stakeholders
- occasionally provide administrative support in professional training and public education events in end-of-life care
- perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- a Bachelor’s degree or above
- a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese/Cantonese
- good analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- proficiency in using software applications such as Excel and R/SPSS are preferred
What We Offer
The appointment will commence as soon as possible on temporary basis until June 30, 2027. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
Those with higher qualifications and more experience may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I.
