Administrative Assistant II in the Academic Support and Examinations Section of the Registry (Ref.: 536306) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

 

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of work experience at a supervisory level, preferably in the tertiary education sector.  They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), as well as strong organisational, multi-tasking, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills.  A strong sense of responsibility and work ethics; and be attentive to detail are essential.  They should also be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.  Proficiency in IT applications is required, and familiarity with artificial intelligence tools or AI literacy will be considered a definite asset.

 

The appointee will provide administrative and secretarial support for the University’s examinations, committees, and external examiners system.  The role will also involve assisting in the development and implementation of IT systems and automation projects, as well as performing any other duties as assigned by supervisors.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
