Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Assistant Manager) in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Global Health Institute, School of Public Health (Ref.: 536409), to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should have a good university degree with at least 3 years’ relevant post-qualification experience in a higher education sector or a public/quasi-public organization. They should have effective communication skills, a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and computer literacy. They should be mature, decisive, task-oriented, and able to work independently as well as a team in a fast-paced environment with different stakeholders.

The appointee will report to the Administrative Director to support the daily operations of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Global Health Institute. He/She will assist with a broad range of administrative functions, including project planning and management, progress reporting, human resources, budgeting and financial matters, space planning and utilisation, and general office management. The role also involves liaising with internal and external stakeholders and undertaking other duties as assigned.
