Clinical Psychologist (at the rank of Psychologist) in the Counselling and Person Enrichment Section of the Centre of Development and Resources for Students (CEDARS) (Ref: 536555), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed term basis with contract end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefit scheme, totaling up to 15% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and be eligible for membership of the relevant professional bodies and possess experiences in providing psychological services to adolescents and young adults. Fluency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua is a must. Possession of Mental Health First Aid Trainer qualification is an advantage.

The appointee will conduct individual counselling or psychological assessment and intervention, manage crisis, develop and conduct mental health resources and activities for a diverse student population covering all Faculties in the University, and offer staff consultation and training in joint-care approach. The appointee will also actively participate in promoting mental health and psychosocial well-being through various means and work closely with our professional team at CEDARS composing of Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and the administrative team, and other student support personnel at CEDARS and University staff to reach out to our students.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leaves and medical benefits.
