Legal Executive (at the rank of Clerk I) in the Technology Transfer Office (Ref.: 537017) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Diploma or above in Legal Studies, Secretarial Studies or related disciplines, with at least 6 years of solid relevant work experience. They should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); proficiency in English and Chinese word processing and PC applications such as MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook; excellent interpersonal, organisational, detail-oriented and communication skills; and a strong sense of responsibility and ethics. They should also be self-motivated, hardworking, and able to work independently under minimal supervision. 

The appointee, in an administrative support role to the legal team, will provide comprehensive executive and secretarial support; handle daily correspondence, communications and appointments; maintain an up-to-date filing system and record keeping; prepare and review straightforward or standard agreements; engross and arrange the execution of agreements; and perform miscellaneous and ad-hoc tasks as required.
