Executive Officer in the Faculty of Arts (Ref.: 537110) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in tertiary education institutions. Experience in undergraduate programme admissions would be an advantage. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; excellent presentation skills; good organizational, interpersonal, communications and problem-solving skills; and good IT proficiency, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and graphic design software. Applicants should also be able to work independently and under pressure. They should also be good team players with proven ability to handle multiple tasks and be attentive to details.
The appointee will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Faculty Undergraduate Admissions team. Key responsibilities include managing the end-to-end admissions process, overseeing the administration of various scholarships, maintaining communication with offer-holders, preparing and analyzing admissions data, engaging in outreach for the promotion of the Faculty’s undergraduate programmes in local, mainland, and international markets, and performing other duties as assigned. The position may also require working outside normal office hours and traveling outside Hong Kong as necessary.
