Student Advising Officer (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Student Engagement and Leadership of Centre of Development and Resources for Students (Ref.: 537230) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary/ Renewal of contract is subject to the availability of project funding and mutual agreement.).
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree with at least 3-5 years' relevant post-qualification experience, preferably with some experience in database and online platform management. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with initiative and under pressure to meet tight deadlines. They should also be a good team player with the ability to multitask, be attentive to details, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
The appointee will
- Oversee the administration and daily operation of two Amenities Centres, including financial administration, budget control, maintenance and improvement works, contractor and support staff supervision, venue utilisation, safety and security;
- Liaising with student societies, student leaders, hall/college representatives, University units, and external partners on matters relating to student activities, leadership development, and student support;
- Planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating student leadership development, orientation, integration, cultural exchange, and campus-wide engagement programmes that promote students' holistic development and enrich campus life.
