Business Development Manager
At Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL), we are seeking a passionate Business Development Manager to join our dedicated team team.
Location: Fitzroy - With Daily Travel around Metro Melbourne
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time working - 38 hours per week
Salary: $113,691.33 to $118,710.13 per annum, based on skills and experience plus 12% superannuation. (pro-rata for part-time employment)

About the role
As Business Development Manager, you’ll lead the growth of BSL’s flagship offerings:
- Given the Chance – supporting jobseekers facing disadvantage into meaningful employment
- Cross Cultural Consultancy – building culturally capable workplaces
- Advantaged Thinking Training – shifting systems toward empowerment and equity
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic business development and stakeholder engagement
- Co-create tailored training and advisory services
- Lead inclusive recruitment campaigns and employment pathways
- Represent BSL at industry events and forums
- Use data and insights to inform continuous improvement
- Coach and support a team of Employer Engagement Officers
