We’re looking for a strategic, proactive and relationship-driven Community Liaison to join the Saver Plus team and help grow participation across the BSL Saver Plus Delivery Team catchment area (North and West Victoria).
This is a four-day-per-week role with a car allowance to support travel requirements. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the community, building partnerships, opening doors and converting opportunities into real program outcomes. The role requires regular travel to partner organisations, schools, community services and referral agencies, balanced with structured planning, follow-up, virtual engagement and day-to-day administrative responsibilities.

Salary: $90,962.92 - $97,875.15 per annum, based on skills and experience plus 12% superannuation. (pro-rata for part-time employment)

What you’ll be doing
The Community Liaison is responsible for driving demand for Saver Plus by building strong, active referral networks and converting relationships into participant enrolments. You will be working with another team member to meeting stakeholders, pitching the program, and creating new pathways into Saver Plus, also completing normal job duties.
You will:
- Actively build and manage a network of referral partners across schools, community services, local organisations and employers
- Use sales and relationship-building techniques to promote Saver Plus and secure ongoing referrals
- Plan and prioritise daily and weekly outreach activity to ensure consistent pipeline growth
- Balance in-person visits with virtual follow-ups, presentations and relationship management
- Work closely with the Saver Plus delivery team to ensure referrals convert into active participants
- Track leads, activity and outcomes to inform planning and performance

You will bring:
- Strong sales, engagement or business-development experience, ideally in community, education, not-for-profit or service environments
- Excellent networking skills and the ability to quickly build trust and credibility with external stakeholders
- The ability to plan, prioritise and manage your own outreach pipeline across multiple locations and partners
- Confidence working both face-to-face and online to build and maintain relationships
- Strong strategic thinking, you can see where growth will come from and organise your time accordingly
- A genuine interest in supporting families and communities through financial inclusion
