Job Type: Permanent Full-Time working 38 hours per week
Salary: $97,971.00 - $102,068.58 per annum, based on skills and experience plus 12% superannuation. (pro-rata for part-time employment)

About the role
The Store Operations Manager plays a key leadership role within Social Enterprises, driving operational excellence, customer experience, and commercial performance across BSL’s retail store network. The role supports the development and implementation of strategies, programs, and operational initiatives that strengthen retail capability, improve customer outcomes, and contribute to BSL’s social impact and financial sustainability.
Key responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership and support to the BSL store network, working with Area and Store Managers to improve customer experience, sales performance and operational outcomes.
- Support the development and implementation of retail operational standards, processes and continuous improvement initiatives across the store network.
- Maintain and utilise store performance reporting, identifying opportunities to improve revenue, customer outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain and other internal stakeholders to support campaigns, inventory management and community engagement activities.
- Lead and support capability development for retail leaders, while fostering a strong safety culture for staff, volunteers and customers.

What we are looking for
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has a passion for supporting the mission of BSL and delivering excellence in your role.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has the following key skills and experiences:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Retail Management, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years' experience in senior retail management, including multi-site store management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams, deliver operational targets and communicate effectively across a decentralised workforce.
- Strong financial, commercial and supply chain management experience, with the ability to identify performance improvement opportunities.
- Excellent stakeholder management, project management, influencing and relationship-building skills, with a highly customer-centric approach.
