About the Role

This fantastic opportunity is for a Law Graduate to join our Insurance litigation team in our Perth office on a fulltime basis. Ideally, you will be in your final year of university or soon to be admitted into legal practice. 

This role will see you working on a wide variety of public liability, professional indemnity and health law matters (including medical negligence claims and disciplinary proceedings) within a highly collaborative and supportive team. In return, the successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to work alongside and receive mentoring from three of our highly regarded Principals.

About you

To be considered, you will need to have:

  • Genuine interest in insurance and health law.
  • Maintained high academic performance throughout your studies.
  • A fundamental grasp of writing skills
  • Excellent analytical abilities and strong critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A positive, “can do” attitude and willingness to be a key member of a tight knit team.
  • A sharp eye for detail.
  • A great work ethic and be keen to learn and develop your career.
  • A good sense of humour.

Prior litigation and defendant insurance experience will be considered favourably, however candidates possessing outstanding technical skills and a preparedness to proactively develop an understanding of the Insurance and Health law framework are encouraged to apply.  Written applications should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae and academic transcript showing subject results and course GPA.
