About the Role and Team

We have an exciting opportunity is for a motivated Graduate to join our high-performing, fast paced Recoveries team in our Brisbane office.

This role will see you working within a practice of litigated and unlitigated motor vehicle and property damage recoveries and settlements matters.

You will receive mentoring, guidance and support from Senior Lawyers and the wider Recoveries Team which boasts a collegiate, innovative and collaborative culture. It is the perfect environment for you to develop your strategic-advice work and practice management skills, while gaining exposure to insurance litigation matters.

About you

We are interested in candidates who have maintained high academic performance throughout their studies and are motivated to gain expertise and insight into insurance law. 

To be successful in the role, you will bring:

• A genuine interest in insurance law and litigation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, can-do approach to your work
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines with confidence
• A collaborative mindset and genuine willingness to support and contribute positively to the team
• The ability to build positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Education

• Completion of a recognised Law degree in Australia
