About the role

The Driver Trainer is responsible for operational driver training within the Linfox Bulk Fuels business, covering nationally across all regions.  You will ensure the education and professional training, and meeting planned targets and compliance within legislative requirements.

• Efficient and productive delivery of Operational Training services across all regions, including delivery of induction programmes and pre-employment driver assessments
• Ensure training records and training documentation are maintained
• Collaborate with the Operational Managers to lead safety investigations in conjunction with the Safety team and implement actions to prevent re-occurrence
• Assist with the inductions and training of staff
• Review, update and development of training and delivery procedures
• Provide support to regional Operation Managers in their absence if necessary

The role will ideally be based in Auckland but will support the business nationally and regional travel will be required.  The role will be working a minimum of 45 hours per week, from Monday to Friday.

About you

We are looking for someone to join our team that has a passion for training, safety and the continuous education of our drivers. 

• A minimum of 5 years industry experience
• Certification in Assessment and Workplace Training
• Class 5 driver’s license
• Flexibility to travel nationally to Wellington, Napier and Tauranga
• I endorsement would be preferable
• Computer literate in using MS Office
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
