What we need?

An opportunity has become available for a National Pallet Manager to join Linfox.

You will be an experienced Pallet Manager who can direct and lead a team of pallet controllers to manage the pallet functions such as processing of transfers, maintenance of pallet movement records, reconciliation of invoices for operations and building relationships with internal and external partners

Position responsibilities and accountabilities

• Manage the efficient processing of pallet movements on and off pallet accounts
• Lead your team in ensuring:
• Accurate & timely daily input of pallet transfer data into our pallet management system.
• Track and monitor the one for one exchange movements
• Work internally and externally to recover owed pallets
• Weekly reconciliation of pallet invoices
• Prepare weekly and monthly pallet reports
• Negotiate with 3rd parties in dispute resolution
• Investigate, correct and prevent recurrences of variances
• Work with internal partners in pallet transfers and movements

Successful applicants will need:

• Experience in a pallet management environment is essential
• Experience in team leadership and an interest in coaching and developing a team.
• Computer literate in MS Office (advanced MS Excel), Loscam, 2ICand Chep would be ideal
• Good numeracy skills with an eye for detail
• A commitment to bringing excellence of service to our customers
• Excellent communication skills
