What we need?

We are currently recruiting for a Pallet Controller to be part of our Shared Services team at Linfox.

The main function of this role is to assist with the pallet management functions including processing of the pallet transfers, maintenance of pallet movement records, stock takes and reconciliations of pallet invoices for the warehousing and transport operations for Linfox New Zealand.

Position responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Manage the processing of pallet movements on and off the NZ pallet accounts
  • Document and maintain pallet processes for all sites across NZ
  • Daily inputting of pallet transfer data into 2ic (pallet management system)
  • Daily reconciliation of transfer movements
  • Track and monitor the one for one exchange movements
  • Work with Transport to recover owed pallets
  • Weekly reconciliation of pallet invoices
  • Prepare weekly and monthly pallet reports

Successful applicants will need:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel – intermediate to advanced level
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word – intermediate to advanced level
  • Working knowledge of 2ic Software (Preferable, however, not essential)
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong numeracy skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • A willingness to learn and a "can do, will do" attitude
  • A commitment to bringing excellence of service to our customers
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Experience in warehousing (preferable, however, not essential)  

In addition to the above experience, you will also demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised, possess excellent communication skills, offer flexibility and show initiative.
