Mō Te Tūranga | About the Role

As the Operations Manager you will lead and manage the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring smooth delivery of services across various sectors, including pharmaceutical, health & beauty, and lubricants.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse:

• Conduct weekly safety toolbox talks and oversee staff attendance.
• Manage day-to-day operations efficiently.
• Collaborate with key customers to meet volume requirements.
• Support teams in establishing contracts and agreements.
• Manage KRAs and ensure KPI delivery with the Warehouse leadership team.

Customer Relations:

• Foster a customer-centric approach within the warehouse teams.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure high-quality, error-free service delivery to all customers.
• Conduct monthly review meetings with key customers.

People Development and Management:

• Uphold Linfox values and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Oversee employee induction, training, and competency maintenance.
• Develop performance and development plans for direct reports.
• Promote a culture of safety and ethical conduct.

He Kōrero Mōu | About You

Key Requirements:

• Education: Tertiary qualification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in supply chain/warehouse/logistics, pharmaceutical sector experience preferred, previous management experience essential.
• Knowledge: Industry trends, supply chain operations, relevant legislation, health and safety standards.
• Competencies: Strong communication, leadership, customer service, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Other: Business acumen, budget management, team motivation, ability to work under pressure.
