He angitūtanga | The Opportunity

We’re looking for an organised and detail-focused Inventory Warehouse Assistant to join our team at our Auckland Distribution Centre. In this role, you’ll support the Inventory Supervisor to ensure inventory accuracy and efficient warehouse operations. You’ll also assist with customer enquiries, returns processing, and general warehouse tasks to help keep our operations running smoothly.

Ngā kawenga | Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with stock checks, audits, and investigations into inventory discrepancies.
  • Process returns, damages, and customer claims within set timeframes.
  • Provide timely and professional responses to customer enquiries.
  • Support day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Ensure safe and organised product handling and storage.
  • Operate MHE and use WMS/SAP systems to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and injury-free workplace.

Ko wai koe | About You

You’ll bring experience in warehousing or supply chain operations, with a good understanding of inventory systems and compliance standards. Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
  • Familiarity with WMS and SAP.
  • A forklift licence (preferred).
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Great communication and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
