He angitūtanga | The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Management Accountant to join our busy Finance Team based at our Head Office in Auckland. In this role you’ll partner closely with our National Commercial Managers for Transport and Warehousing, providing timely reporting, analysis, and commercial advice that supports operational performance, robust decision-making, and growth across customer contracts. You’ll coordinate daily/weekly/monthly performance reporting, lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, and design practical analytical models and tools that lift insight quality for internal and external stakeholders.

Ngā pūkenga | What You Will Bring

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance, with experience across cost/management accounting and P&L ownership.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong capability in Word and PowerPoint; confidence building and maintaining models, KPIs, and reporting dashboards.
• Proven track record preparing weekly/monthly P&L and operational reports for warehousing/transport cost centers; accuracy and integrity in all financial information.
• Commercial acumen: understanding of cost models, customer pricing, and commercial agreements; ability to translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborative communicator who partners effectively with Finance & Commercial, Operations, IT, senior leadership, and customers; organised, detail-focused, with strong planning and prioritisation.
