Disability Support Worker - Ringwood Social Connections (Day Program)
We are seeking for 3x Permanent Part-Time Disability Support Workers at Ringwood Social Connections (Day Program).
About The Role
You will play a key role in proactively supporting and empowering our clients to be part of the community, their hobbies, interests and programs and to live independently.
This role really requires someone fun and vibrant with a passion for supporting young people.
- 2x Positions: Monday to Friday | 9am to 3pm | 55 hours per fortnight
- 1x Position: Monday to Friday | 8:30am to 3pm | 60 hours per fortnight
- Supporting clients to engage in outdoor and hands-on activities such as swimming, sports, art, music, gardening, or cooking
- Providing respectful and dignified personal care and daily living support
- Promoting independence and inclusion in the community
- Communicating proactively with team members and supervisors to report progress or concerns
- Maintain positive and welcoming relationships with families, colleagues, and other service providers
