Disability Support Worker (DDSO1/1Q) - Kew

We have a new Fixed Term Part-Time (3 months) opportunity in Kew for a Disability Support Worker (DDSO1/1Q)

• Fortnight 1 total hours: 40
• Fortnight 2 total hours: 31
• Total hours per month: 71

The role includes:

• Supporting our customers to live independently whilst providing a caring service (and the odd joke wouldn’t hurt either!)
• Manual handling including bending, lifting, and transferring and is very hands on, so suits active people who can perform these tasks
• Creating a pleasant environment for our Customers and yourself to enjoy – this can include outings, the odd trip to the movies or footy and more!
• Personal care work and support, including domestic/household tasks
• Being calm and confident in all situations
• Certificate IV in Disability ( or equivalence) is highly desirable
