House Supervisor (DDSO3A) – Kew

We have an exciting Fixed Term Full-Time opportunity in Kew for a House Supervisor (DDSO3A).

Position Details 

  • ASAP start, with fixed term end date of 02 May 2026
  • Fortnight 1: 75 hrs
  • Fortnight 2: 77 hours

This is a highly rewarding role that supports people with a disability in an inclusive and individualised way. This position is a leadership role which delivers direct services and supervision of staff. This is to enable the residents of the Shared Supported Accommodation to live happy and empowered lives, engaged in their community.

To qualify for this role you will:

  • Have a passion to support people with a disability in an inclusive way which meets the individual needs of each customer at your service
  • Have experience within disability, including experience dealing with behaviours of concern
  • Providing training and support in a complex residential setting
  • Manage a small staff team and related services, including ensuring effective roster management (budgetary and human resources)
  • Be an effective communicator with proven experience in managing a diverse team in the community sector
  • Be strategic in your thinking about how to improve your service and contribute to changes that positively affect your service
  • Be confident in leading a diverse team and providing support to residents
  • Have the ability to adapt to and be calm in any situation
  • An Advanced Diploma of Disability (Download File or equivalence) is required for this role.
  • Successful applicants will be required to hold a NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and a Working with Children Check. If you have lived or worked for a continuous period of 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years, a certified International Police Check.
