Disability Support Worker (DDSO1/1Q) – 2/58 Rathmines Road

We have a Permanent Part-Time opportunity at 2/58 Rathmines Road, Hawthorn East, for a Disability Support Worker (DDSO1/1Q).

• Fortnight 1 total hours: 36.5
• Fortnight 2 total hours: 51
• Roster Line 5

The role includes:

• Supporting our customers to live independently whilst providing a caring service (and the odd joke wouldn’t hurt either!)
• Manual handling including bending, lifting, and transferring and is very hands on, so suits active people who can perform these tasks
• Creating a pleasant environment for our Customers and yourself to enjoy – this can include outings, the odd trip to the movies or footy and more!
• Personal care work and support, including domestic/household tasks
• Being calm and confident in all situations
• Certificate IV in Disability ( or equivalence) is highly desirable
