Advanced Disability Support Worker (DDSO2A) – [Walwa Street]

We have an exciting Part Time Fixed Term opportunity at 29 Walwa Street, Mitcham for a Disability Support Worker (DDSO2A), from 15/06/2025 - 29/11/2025. 

• Fortnight 1 total hours: 70
• Fortnight 2 total hours: 62.5

This role will be responsible assisting the House Supervisor with managing employees, the people we support and the running the service.

This is a highly rewarding role that supports people with a disability in an inclusive and individualised way.

To qualify for this role you will:

• Have a passion to support people with a disability in an inclusive way which meets the individual needs of each customer at your service
• Have experience within disability, including experience dealing with behaviours of concern
• Be an effective communicator with proven experience in managing a diverse team in the community sector
• Be strategic in your thinking about how to improve your service and contribute to changes that positively affect your service
• Enjoy change and work well in leading a team through an ever-changing environment
• Have the ability to adapt to various situations
• An Advanced Diploma of Disability ( or equivalence)  is required for this role
