House Supervisor (DDSO3) – Talbot Street, Colac

We are seeking a dedicated House Supervisor (DDSO3) who has a passion for creating meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive, coupled with delivering exceptional services and supervision of staff. This is to enable the residents of our homes to live happy and empowered lives, engaged in their community.

Location: Talbot Street, Colac

Work Type: Permanent Full-Time

Hours: 152 (FN1: 73.5 FN2: 78.5)

About the role:

• Have a passion to support people with a disability in an inclusive way which meets the individual needs of each customer at your service
• Have experience within disability, including experience dealing with behaviours of concern
• Providing training and support in a complex residential setting
• Manage a small staff team and related services, including ensuring effective roster management (budgetary and human resources)
• Be an effective communicator with proven experience in managing a diverse team in the community sector
• Be strategic in your thinking about how to improve your service and contribute to changes that positively affect your service
• Be confident in leading a diverse team and providing support to residents
• Have the ability to adapt to and be calm in any situation
• Must be available to work all shifts listed in roster
• Certificate IV in Disability (Qualifications equivalence)  is required for this role
• An Advanced Diploma of Disability (Qualifications equivalence)is required for this role.
