Advanced Disability Support Worker (DDSO2A) – [Ella Grove]

We are seeking a vibrant and dedicated Advanced Disability Support worker (DDSO2A) who has a passion for creating meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive.

This role will be responsible assisting the House Supervisor with managing employees, the people we support and the running the service.

Location: 52 Ella Grove, Chelsea

Work Type: 3-month Fixed Term Part-Time

Hours: 123 (FN1:66.5, FN2:56.5)

Roster line: 2

About the role:

• Have a passion to support people with a disability in an inclusive way which meets the individual needs of each customer at your service
• Have experience within disability, including experience dealing with behaviours of concern
• Be an effective communicator with proven experience in managing a diverse team in the community sector
• Be strategic in your thinking about how to improve your service and contribute to changes that positively affect your service
• Enjoy change and work well in leading a team through an ever-changing environment
• Have the ability to adapt to various situations
• Must be available to work all shifts listed in roster
• An Advanced Diploma of Disability (Qualifications equivalence)  is required for this role
