About the role:
The Project Manager is a responsible for managing various projects including but not limited to academic promotions, business continuity, space allocations and risk management activities across the faculty. The position works closely with the Director, Faculty Services and Faculty Executive members on faculty specific projects and builds collaborative relationships with stakeholders. The position will also support the implementation of divisional and university initiatives and ensure efficient, effective, and timely services are provided within specified project timelines. The position works closely with stakeholders to develop and deliver the full scope of allocated work while following the relevant processes and procedures.
As a Project Manager, you will:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders by providing a customer service approach that delivers high value outcomes.
- Fully scope and project manage activities as well as oversee complex projects with competing deadlines providing a high-quality service to all stakeholders.
- Triage ad hoc projects and requests on behalf of the Faculty Executive and work with relevant stakeholders to prepare an appropriate response or action.
- Oversee the risk and compliance framework for the Faculty to ensure appropriate executive accountability and action.
- Coordinate the implementation of divisional and university initiatives within the faculty as required.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and management expertise; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Experience in project coordination and management.
- Experience working in an environment which dictates high standards of protocol, attention to detail and professionalism.
- Experience managing, coordinating or delivering a broad range of quality activities or projects.
