Who are we?
The Training and Business Improvement (TBI) team works with functional areas across Student Services, to deliver a seamless, innovative, and comprehensive training experience while continuously improving the systems and processes that underpin its core business needs.
The TBI team is responsible for:
- Supporting successful engagement, induction and onboarding of staff who are new to Student Services
- Providing Student Services staff with instructional training programs that meet development requirements including new business processes, systems or services.
- Identifying and embedding process improvements and platform enhancements to meet operational priorities of Student Services teams.
About the role:
The Training Coordinator is responsible for analysing, developing, administering, and delivering ongoing instructional training programs that meet the staff development requirements across Student Services. The Training Coordinator also provides training to other areas within the University in relation to new functionality, systems or services provided by Student Services.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Training and Enablement the role will:
- Work collaboratively with team members to plan, develop, and maintain contemporary training materials for Student Services that are friendly, comprehensive, and address the needs and requirements of staff and changes to business processes and systems.
- Develop and implement practical, accessible, and inclusive training solutions based on stakeholder needs.
- Strive for excellence and consult regularly with clients to clarify criteria for success.
- Coordinate and facilitate virtual and in-person training programs for Student Services staff, as well as staff impacted by Student Services projects.
- Support the implementation of quality assurance programs to ensure services meet high standards across operational areas and provide training to remedy skills gaps.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- A Degree with substantial subsequent relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Experience designing, coordinating and delivery of training programs to a variety of audiences
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (desirable)
