About the role:

The Platform Developer role is responsible for supporting the development and enhancement of ServiceNow solutions that help achieve the organisation's strategic goals. This role focuses on contributing to the design, development, and implementation of platform solutions to ensure they meet user needs and organisational requirements.

As a Platform Developer you will:

  • Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of platform solutions that meet organisational requirements, industry standards, and user needs.
  • Support platform development activities, including coding, integration, and maintenance, to ensure smooth, efficient platform operations.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to define platform requirements and align development efforts with business objectives.
  • Follow established strategies, processes, and best practices to optimise platform performance, scalability, and security.
  • Track progress on assigned tasks and report on project status, raising potential issues or delays to ensure timely delivery.  

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • A Degree with substantial subsequent relevant experience; or
  • Extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Experience in platform development in large hybrid IT environment.
  • Experience configuring and developing on platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce or Microsoft Power Platform.
