In this role, you will:

 In a typical day, you will:

  • Coach and support your team by offering guidance to help achieve individual, team, and University goals—fostering a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative environment through effective communication and rapport-building.
  • Lead by example by demonstrating professional and ethical behaviour, consulting relevant resources, and seeking expert advice to make informed decisions.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders by responding promptly to queries or concerns, tailoring communication to diverse audiences, and ensuring needs are met to agreed standards.
  • Plan and prioritise your work with a methodical and organised approach—tracking progress, managing time effectively, and taking responsibility for meeting personal and team objectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by embracing new ideas, providing constructive feedback, supporting colleagues through change, and helping deliver efficient, high-quality outcomes.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Completion of a Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • Completion of an Associate Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • Completion of a Post-Trades Certificate or Advanced Certificate and extensive relevant experience as a Technician; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Experience in administration and related activities in a large organisation with complex administrative structures, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience in operating in a high-pressure diverse environment, involving face to face, phone, and written communication.
  • Experience providing services and support in a large organisation.
  • Experience in a fundraising environment (desirable).
  • Experience with Donor, Alumni, Student, HR or similar complex relationship management databases (desirable).
  • Experience with basic bookkeeping (desirable).
