 About the role

The Senior Officer, Enrolments coordinates, develops and supports enrolment functions and systems, including ensuring a broad range of complex functions are delivered to a high standard and are compliant with University policies and Commonwealth legislation and maintaining accurate student records within the student management system. The position will lead the ongoing training and provide high level advice and support to University staff in relation to enrolment processes and systems functionality. The Senior Officer, Enrolments ensures essential protocols are adhered to, promoting an enhanced student experience whilst maintaining data integrity.  

As a Senior Officer, Enrolments, you will:

  • Support ad hoc projects, such as systems enhancements, new enrolment processes, other University programs as required
  • Consult a diverse range of stakeholders to provide timely and accurate advice about enrolment processes and protocols
  • Engage in process improvement activities and adopt new ideas to enhance enrolment processes
  • Maintain accurate student records within the student management system
  • Deliver effective and efficient on-line enrolment information sessions and provide accurate enrolment advice to students                                                                                                            

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
  • Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Experience in administration and related activities in a large organisation with complex administrative structures, policies and procedures
  • Experience in operating in a high-pressure diverse environment, involving face to face, phone and written issue
  • Knowledge of enrolment practice and process in an education environment
