About the role:
The Senior Officer, Curriculum is responsible to coordinate the process and maintain the integrity of data held within Divisional Curriculum applications, including the Student Management system, the course map database, Course Manager and the university publishing application, BRUCE, ensuring all data conforms to relevant curriculum approvals.
This could be a great secondment opportunity to apply your curriculum systems knowledge and to assist with projects relating to curriculum information systems and contribute to the coordination of business processes relating to the publication of curriculum data.
As the Senior Officer, Curriculum you will:
- Undertakes curriculum system analysis, solution identification, development, testing and implementation
- Identify process improvements, formulating requirements and performing user acceptance testing prior to implementation of solutions relating to Curriculum.
- Coordinate and implement the scheduling and maintenance of curriculum related systems each teaching period, ensuring prioritisation of curriculum incidents and work requests
- Plan and prioritises work and critical activities, recognise barriers to achieving outcomes and find effective ways to deal with them and evaluate progress
- Seek to identify ways to better service the customer
- Provide expert advice to clients on data requirements and capabilities of the Course Structure and Planning subsystem, Course Manager database, BRUCE and other systems to key stakeholders
To be successful, you’ll have:
- A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Experience in the user aspects of implementation, configuration and operation of complex corporate computing system
