As a Strategic Adviser, you will:
- Shape the direction of key university programs by providing strategic advice and insights to the DVCRI.
- Lead high-impact projects aligned with the Research and Innovation Guiding Plan 2025–30, engaging senior stakeholders and experts.
- Identify and analyse strategic issues to deliver evidence-based recommendations and drive continuous improvement.
- Create high-quality reports, presentations, and briefings, and support executive committees and leadership forums.
- Partner with Research Finance to ensure transparent and effective management of research funding and internal allocations.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Qualifications and experience aligned with a senior-level role in a large, complex organisation.
- Proven ability to design and implement innovative strategies and solutions that drive organisational success.
- A sound knowledge and understanding of contemporary relevant discipline practices.
- Proven ability to exercise judgement, adaptability, and the ability to influence and gain support for new initiatives.
- Highly developed analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders and solve complex problems.
