As a Coordinator, you will:

  • Engage with a broad range of organisations within Life and Environmental Sciences, such as biomed, biotech, forensics science, environmental science, wildlife, and more.
  • Maintain productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and key influential individuals both internal and external to the University.
  • Plan and implement programs, effective communication strategies and initiatives designed to increase participation in work integrated learning and working collaboratively with other WIL Engagement Coordinators and Senior WIL Advisors
  • Develop and implement practical, accessible solutions based on stakeholder needs to work integrated learning matters.
  • Communicate with confidence using examples and the most appropriate influencing technique for a given situation to increase engagement, outcomes, understanding and support.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • A Degree with substantial subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training preferably in the field of Life and Environmental Sciences.
  • Experience working collaboratively and effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders and/or clients from the private sector, government and/or community sectors and students.
  • Ability to comprehend, analysis and summarise complex information and effectively communicate the information to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Experience working within an organisation with complex administrative structures, policies, and procedures, preferably within the higher education sector.
