About the role:
The Officer, Student Services (Information and Communication Technology) is instrumental in consulting and supporting a range of university stakeholders to enable the delivery of general and technical services to NIKERI (NIKERI - National Indigenous Knowledges Education Research Innovation Institute) staff and students, in a compliant and efficient manner.
As an Officer, Student Services ICT you will:
- Coordinate, support and provide advice in relation to the Institute’s ICT systems and infrastructure
- Maintain broad and up-to-date knowledge of ICT technology and processes
- Provide advice on the administration and use of university services and functions
- Contribute to projects including teaching space/meeting room upgrades
- Develop, review and update equipment inventories
- Provide a range of processing and administrative tasks in line with university procedures such as local timetable development, staff/student onboarding and asset procurement
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Completion of a Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
- Completion of an Associate Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- An established knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander societies and issues affecting Indigenous people in contemporary Australian society.
