As a Partner, you will:
- Develop and implement faculty-specific marketing strategies that align with university-wide goals, showcasing research excellence and supporting Graduate Research recruitment.
- Establish strong, collaborative relationships with academic and professional staff, research groups, and institutes to understand priorities and translate them into impactful marketing activity.
- Plan and manage the production of high-quality content across digital, media, and print channels, ensuring consistency with Deakin’s brand and strategic messaging.
- Provide leadership and coaching to a team of content producers and writers, fostering creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement in output quality.
- Create tools and frameworks that empower researchers to communicate effectively, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance visibility, engagement, and reputation of faculty research.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Extensive experience and management expertise; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Experience conceptualising, developing, reviewing and executing marketing projects in complex environments.
- Experience developing and delivering marketing and communications plans for a wide variety of audiences.
- Experience working with external agencies and managing those relationships.
- Experience implementing strategy across key marketing channels, including both print and digital advertising and social marketing channels.
