About the role:

The Senior Officer, Professional Experience Support is responsible for the coordination of a broad range of administrative and systems support services to the Professional Experience Office, ensuring efficient, effective and timely provision of service to the Professional Experience Leadership Team and Placement Officers. Reporting to the Team Leader, the Senior Officer, Professional Experience Support will be responsible for ensuring that the placement systems and databases are managed efficiently, information flows are accurate and timely, compliance requirements are met, and system users are well supported through reporting, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.

  

As the Senior Officer, Professional Experience Support, you will:

  • Maintain Professional Experience systems and records by ensuring accuracy, functionality, and accessibility of databases, reporting tools, and online platforms, including liaison with IT services and external vendors as required.
  • Generate and distribute reports by producing accurate placement, assessment, and other operational data; maintaining records; and supporting the timely dissemination of reporting outcomes.
  • Provide operational systems support to the Professional Experience Office by managing data integrity, resolving system issues, and assisting staff with queries, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
  • Manage compliance processes by coordinating system-based requirements, ensuring timely updates to records, and conducting regular audits to support compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate the distribution of information by managing the delivery of placement-related communications, materials, and documents through databases and online systems, ensuring consistency of templates and resources.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships by providing clear and accurate systems support, responding promptly to requests, and fostering positive, professional engagement with a diverse range of stakeholders.

 

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Completion of a Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Experience in higher education administration.
  • Experience in operating in a high-pressure diverse environment, involving face to face, phone, and written issue, and experience providing services and support in a large organisation.
