About the role
Hycel is a regional hub of hydrogen expertise, paving the way for Australia’s clean energy future. With a focus on hydrogen usage, Hycel’s technological innovations, programs and pathways aim to deliver clean, affordable energy solutions that support Australian and Victorian emissions reduction targets and develop Australia’s hydrogen industry.
As a Communication and Engagement Specialist, you will:
- Actively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, analyse problems and weigh up a range of options to negotiate inclusive and accessible solutions. Implement solutions, evaluate effectiveness and adjust actions as required.
- Continually evaluate progress and re-prioritises work based on changing needs and strive for excellence and effectively overcome barriers to achieve outcomes. Monitor progress and risks, adapt personal and team priorities and plans as required.
- Encourage and coach others to question traditional assumptions, review practices and policies and draw on a range of information sources to identify new ways of doing things and ways of being inclusive.
- Actively promote and drive inclusive change using broad influencing skills to gain support and overcome barriers to generate enthusiasm about change.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience in communication, engagement and/or partnerships/projects
- A range of communication-related experience and networks to develop and implement effective communication strategies and programs
- Experience in creating and delivering content that is accessible to a general audience in a corporate communication environment
- Experience managing stakeholders to achieve project outcomes
