About the role
The Senior Manager, Property Systems provides leadership and is responsible for the achievement of results for the team’s services and activities. The role leads the development, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure systems and technologies that support the university’s infrastructure operations. This role focuses on ensuring infrastructure-related systems are efficient, secure, and aligned with the university’s infrastructure goals and regulatory requirements.
This role is focused on enhancing the customer experience through a customer-centric approach by integrating physical and digital infrastructure, projects, and services to deliver seamless, impactful solutions tailored to customer needs. The role ensures that improvements align with the division's and university's strategic goals, balancing innovation with long-term objectives.
As the Senior Manager, Property Systems, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of skilled professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide guidance and support to team members in delivering initiatives, ensuring their growth and development.
- Manage the effective delivery of the university’s infrastructure systems and continuously assess and improve these to ensure they are operating efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with the university's infrastructure processes and needs. Ensure infrastructure systems are regularly updated, maintained, and optimised for performance.
- Lead the development of a strategic roadmap for infrastructure systems that aligns with the university's infrastructure goals and broader Digital strategy.
- Manage the planning, implementation, and execution of new infrastructure system projects, upgrades, or system integrations, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Establish long-term partnerships with leaders, act as a trusted advisor, change direction in alignment with learnings and offer expert solutions and strategies that best serve the area’s needs.
To be successful, you’ll have
- Proven expertise in the management of significant human and material resources.
- Extensive relevant experience in ensuring a large organisation’s infrastructure operations are supported by a reliable, efficient, and compliant system.
- Knowledge of and technical expertise in infrastructure software and systems.
- Experience leading an infrastructure systems team and project management skills.
- A deep understanding of regulatory requirements and infrastructure best practices in a large complex organisation.
