As a Clinical Trial Coordinator, you will:

  • Lead the operational delivery of innovative clinical trial models including decentralised, teletrial and hybrid designs ensuring smooth logistics, regulatory compliance and clear communication across stakeholders.
  • Provide specialist expertise across the active trial lifecycle, overseeing secure data management platforms, safety reporting, budgeting, monitoring and sponsor liaison.
  • Coach and support researchers to strengthen recruitment, retention, data quality, financial tracking and adherence to ICH‑GCP and national clinical trial standards.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships across the Barwon Health Deakin Clinical Trials Alliance, driving efficient, high‑quality and collaborative trial coordination processes.
  • Optimise trial resources and operations.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Postgraduate qualifications (or progress toward them) in Nursing, Allied Health or a related research discipline, or extensive experience coordinating and managing clinical trials.
  • ICH‑GCP certification and strong knowledge of Australian human research ethics and governance requirements.
  • Proven project management experience in clinical trial operations, including coordination, compliance and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage complex relationships and competing priorities.
  • Strong digital and data capability, including experience with clinical trial IT platforms, databases and applied data management protocols.
