The Technical Officer provides a high standard of technical support to the teaching and research programs of the school to ensure that the practical programs are delivered in an efficient manner and that expertise can be provided to assist academic staff and students. The technical support is aligned with molecular biology, genomic, and cellular biology based disciplines and assists the Technical Services Coordinator in the area.
As a Technical Officer, Molecular Biology, you will:

Consult with available sources to gather relevant technical information and seek the expertise and advice of other people as appropriate, to provide technical and research support to practical teaching and research programs of the school, specifically in the (molecular biology, genomic and cellular biology based disciplines to ensure classes run smoothly and that the laboratories and materials are cleaned afterwards.

Coordinate on a day-to-day basis, within the designated area of responsibility, materials and equipment requirements of staff and students for the running of practical teaching classes within the specified disciplines of expertise.
